Move over, Ms L!

Hi all, wondering why you are looking at this jumbled up page? This is due to the fact that Facebook didn't like our url since it starts with wog, so we have been forced to move the blog. This was some time ago, and we have placed a script which would automatically send you to our new location. Obviously, this hasn't worked for all of you, since we have just finished moderating some of your comments which appeared on this site recently, and not on our new (and improved!) site. So what we're saying is head on over to our new site, and update your bookmarks!

New Christmas single

All You Need Is Love

Featuring former Rolling Stone Bill Wyman, plus a member of Pink Floyd, a Live Aid founder, and several West End stars. Sir Terry Wogan and his loyal listeners, have joined forces to make some great music – and a difference to the lives of kids across the country.

The TOGs (Terry's Old Geezers and Gals) are Sir Terry Wogan's most ardent fans – and they have mounted another noteworthy assault on the charts in a bid to raise yet more cash for Children In Need.

The great and the good from all sectors of the music and entertainment industry gathered together to record a special version of the Beatles classic, All You Need Is Love, at Abbey Road Studios where the Beatles originally recorded the song.

The single All You Need Is Love will be available as a download from November 1, 2009 - and features Bill Wyman, Midge Ure, Nick Mason, Brian May, Terry Taylor, Jason Rebello, Sharon Corr, Lee Mead, Hayley Westenra, Paloma Faith, Clare Teal, Cara Dillon, Bailey Tzuke, Red Hurley, Sir Terry Wogan, Finbar Furey, Ade Edmondson, Troy Donockley, Andy Dinan, Peter Gabriel, Hugh Cornwell, Anthony Head, Beth Rowley, Heather Small, Imelda May, the Kingswood School Orchestra and Singers

The Children in Need album - Bandaged Together - will be released on November 9, 2009 and will be available for pre-sales on November 1st at www.charitygoods.com.

We don't know if this is related to another piece of news we received today: Paul McCartney was in Abbey Road Studios earlier today, reportedly to record his contribution to a new "Live Aid" type Christmas single.
