Move over, Ms L!

Hi all, wondering why you are looking at this jumbled up page? This is due to the fact that Facebook didn't like our url since it starts with wog, so we have been forced to move the blog. This was some time ago, and we have placed a script which would automatically send you to our new location. Obviously, this hasn't worked for all of you, since we have just finished moderating some of your comments which appeared on this site recently, and not on our new (and improved!) site. So what we're saying is head on over to our new site, and update your bookmarks!

More Lennon as Superman pics

More outtakes from the photo session for "The Penguin John Lennon" book have come to light. And as a Superman fan, I'm always delighted when my two main hobbies come together like this. More about Beatles/Superman connections in my previous blog post here.
Thanks to Mark for alerting me to these new photos, all photos are by Alan Aldridge. The finished book cover featured an altered S-logo, but from the outtakes we can see that it was the real deal.

In his book, "The Man With The Kaleidoscope Eyes," Aldridge notes that his original concept for "The Penguin John Lennon" was to dress Lennon as penguin. I would have loved to have seen that...
