Move over, Ms L!

Hi all, wondering why you are looking at this jumbled up page? This is due to the fact that Facebook didn't like our url since it starts with wog, so we have been forced to move the blog. This was some time ago, and we have placed a script which would automatically send you to our new location. Obviously, this hasn't worked for all of you, since we have just finished moderating some of your comments which appeared on this site recently, and not on our new (and improved!) site. So what we're saying is head on over to our new site, and update your bookmarks!

Paul and George seemed to distance themselves from Alex in later years. With George (in the Anthology book) particularly not being too fond of Apple's electronics 'genius'. And there are those who say that Alex turned John against the Maharishi. George Martin had little time for Alex either. Also Alex wasn't very nice to Cynthia and acted as John's 'messenger' during their split. But that says more about John (and Yoko) than it does about Alex....

Says more about you Martin. Yoko is just showing respect for someone from her past who has died.

When did I say it was wrong for Yoko to pay tribute to Alex? Nowhere.

I said that at the time she and John (with Alex's help) made life hell for Cynthia.
They were terrible to her (and to Tony Cox). So up yours...

IMHO, this guy was dodgier than a 9 bob note and was not just the harmless hippy eccentric he liked to portray himself as.

It cannot be denied he played a major role in the eventual accrimonious dissolution of the band although his part within the epic that is The Beatles story has these days been largely forgotten.

Anyway, RIP "Magic" Alex...

He had an eventful life.
