Move over, Ms L!

Hi all, wondering why you are looking at this jumbled up page? This is due to the fact that Facebook didn't like our url since it starts with wog, so we have been forced to move the blog. This was some time ago, and we have placed a script which would automatically send you to our new location. Obviously, this hasn't worked for all of you, since we have just finished moderating some of your comments which appeared on this site recently, and not on our new (and improved!) site. So what we're saying is head on over to our new site, and update your bookmarks!

Carpool karaoke with Paul in Liverpool

Today in Liverpool, Paul McCartney was seen filming a session of "Carpool Karaoke" with James Cordon. The pair also visited the former McCartney home in Forthlin Road, and the Beatles statues down by the docks. These images were captured by Beatles tour guide Jackie Spencer near the statues, where she had just finished one of her tours.

Carpool Karaoke is a recurring segment on "The Late Late Show" with James Corden in which British comedian James Corden, the host of the show, invites famous musical guests to sing along to their songs with him whilst he is driving. The idea comes from a British "Comic Relief" sketch, which featured George Michael in the car, but both Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr appeared in another segment.

Later that day, Paul and his band played an impromptu gig at "the Phil", the Philharmonic pub, a well established waterhole across the street from the Philharmonic Hall, and often visited by John Lennon and Stuart Sutcilffe back in the day. Among the songs played, Love Me Do, I Wanna Be Your Man, Back in the USSR, Birthday, I’ve Got A Feeling and Hey Jude, reports another tour guide who was inside, Carmen Villoria.

The gig, or parts thereof, will probably be shown as another segment on the "Late Late Show", if successfully played and captured.
