Move over, Ms L!

Hi all, wondering why you are looking at this jumbled up page? This is due to the fact that Facebook didn't like our url since it starts with wog, so we have been forced to move the blog. Flaming Pie for July

Due out in July, Flaming Pie
This just in: according to an internal Universal Music catalogue of upcoming releases, Paul McCartney’s 1997 album «Flaming Pie» is next up to get the archive treatment. Release date is July 24th, and the ltd ed deluxe edition will consist of 5CDs and 2/DVDs.

Upon its initial release, there was a special offer from Best Buy in the U.S.A. where you got an extra CD containing an episode of McCartney’s radio show, «Oobujoobu». There was a video cassette available about the making of the album, «In the world tonight», which was later made available as a DVD. Several music videos were produced for the singles «Young boy», «Beautiful Night» and «The world tonight», but these were only excerpted in the home video release. Another music video for the Maureen Starkey tribute «Little Willow» was only shown once, on Oprah.

There was a version of the «Beautiful Night» video (also featuring Ringo), which had partial nudity and hasn’t been seen since it was shown a few times on MTV Europe. Several constellations of the singles were released, including vinyl picture discs.

There is just no info about it, all that was leaked was the info about the deluxe. LP is very likely to happen.

Still getting my head around the idea of purchasing a McCartney Archive Collection CD release of an album I first owned, from release date, on CD.

My original cd purchased at best buy 2 weeks after release had a black guitar pick with gold lettering Paul McCartney on one side and a gold flaming pie on the other. That was an amazing moment upon opening the CD for its 1st listen. Also the year my Father passed 1997

My favorite McCartney album! I was 17 and felt he wrote Young Boy just for me.

Hm... I was expecting London and Egg. Flaming is better than those, but sonically the 1997 CD is OK and I have the DVD and the Oobu CD as well..... anyway... Bring them on.

I have a dagger that was owned in 1967 by John and it has what looks like the Flaming pie scraped into the blade in several locations. When I bought it everyone who saw it thought it definitely was the flaming pie.

In Paul's May newsletter, "What's That You're Doing", he closes with the following:
"See you next month, where we’ll be revealing something we’ve been quietly cooking up."

Could he be "cooking up" a Flaming Pie?
