Will it come out to buy? I wondered whether there were copyright issues preventing it being part of the new film, but it's a Subafilms project iirc? Obviously it'll make a nice little package - maybe with the original audio and the dubbed sound the boys recorded in 1966 as an audio extra??

What do other fellow fabular people think?James Peethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07532134333616728187noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6695919221523064440.post-68394752783404639432016-07-29T07:49:43.434+02:002016-07-29T07:49:43.434+02:00I think colorization is absolutely the way to go, ...I think colorization is absolutely the way to go, the film will come of as being more consistent and perhaps visually appealing. The Beatles music is timeless, but the haircuts of 1964, and trouser cuts, and the stage decorations are noticeably out of date - which for some younger audiences may be a real distraction. Considering that it is not convenient to digitally change the clothing of every audience member, colorizing the footage is one way of making the visuals more ageless - to match the music. It would be hard enough to try to fit to the HDTV (1.85x1) image. I can only hope that they did it carefully. Colorization is fine. I may have a problem with butchering the image. I'll hope for the best.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12191838859965755107noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6695919221523064440.post-25343002068041007742016-07-28T21:23:42.425+02:002016-07-28T21:23:42.425+02:00To me this looks quite rare and unseen http://i.im...To me this looks quite rare and unseen http://i.imgur.com/SaAPQNi.jpgAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02095547501037392057noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6695919221523064440.post-11536505990007804472016-07-28T19:29:25.468+02:002016-07-28T19:29:25.468+02:00I think the colorized fotage looks pretty bad.
