EMI Music has just purchased Digital Stores Limited, a company which provides online stores for some of the EMI artists including The Beatles, Queen and Oasis. This is a logical move for the music group, since the market is shifting from records and other physical media to downloads and mp3's. So why not branch into the memorabilia market, after all it's their own artists.
