This is a website about all things Beatle. There will be news if we find them attractive, there will also be articles and features about sol...
This website is all about The Beatles and the individual members of The Beatles. It is kept by Roger Stormo, who has been associated with the Norwegian Beatles fan club, "Norwegian Wood", since 1980. Feel free to quote from the site, but please give me credit and a link back to the original item. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. This is not a news site per se, but if we hear about something that has yet to be reported by other Beatles news services, we tend to write about it. Apart from that, we will write stuff about the Beatles on an irregular basis at the whim of the author. A lot of our readers arrive at specific articles from internet searches or references to this site from forums and other Beatles sites. If you did, we encourage you to click here to access the main page, and also to indulge in our archives - you may find other posts that are interesting. You may also subscribe to news from the site and have each new issue delivered to your rss feed reader.
This is not a begging letter... but feel free to support me by donating money! It'll keep me in business... Or just buy a t-shirt! Or take a look at my Amazon wish list...Sticker confirms new mixes |

Besides eBay where else can I buy this
A record store... hence the name, "Record Store Day."
None of the stores around me were participating due to "availability issues" so I said screw it and got one off eBay. Can't wait!!
Amoeba in LA will have it.
Rog,
I didn't realize there was a problem with the 1+ mix of Penny Lane. Have you heard any complaints about that remix, or why do you suppose they remixed it again?
g-force
There was alot of talk about it in one of the Steve Hoffman forums. That's where you'll find alot of information and unfortunately complaints lol
God willing I'll actually be able to find a copy on saturday (not to mention the McCartney cassette). Of the handful of record stores that still exist in my area, only one is actually participating in RSD. The others have said that it is not worth the hassle...shame really.
I don't know, g-force - perhaps they have added that extra trumpet riff for effect?
A very kind Geordie friend was in a queue this morning at 0400hrs(!) He managed to snaffle my copy from that record shop. It's a single that I've adored for over thirty years. I remember the 2-hour special celebrating the twentieth anniversary that had George and Paul on it. No rememberance to explain Ringo's absence. He wasn't in the best of health in those days.
remember when they released the Long Tall Sally EP for Record Store Day? you can still buy that on the Beatles Website - i will wait and buy the Strawberry Fields single on there once it becomes available - which it will!
I have that 20th anniversary show on VHS from when it was initially aired James. Think it's in a bag in my parents' attic. Must find it and get it digitized.
